The inhabitants of the city, formerly the Romans and later the Muslims, due to the weather of the city, adapted their homes to their needs, thus creating some central courtyards, which normally had a fountain and a well where the water was collected from the rain.
The most famous neighborhood where you can visit these courtyards is the Alcazar Viejo.

Another of the places you must visit if you have time is one of the Arab Baths, you can choose between the Baths of the Alcazar Califal or the Arab Baths of Santa María, the latter located very close to the Alhama Mosque. They are currently inside a house, but can be accessed by buying the corresponding ticket.

And last but not least, if not the other way around, another one of the things you should not miss or perhaps the only one that we should not ignore in a city like Cordova They are its streets and squares.
Strolling around and getting lost in its squares is one of the greatest pleasures you can find in a city like this, discovering at every step, corners that will surprise you and leaving an unforgettable taste in your mouth.
