There is little left for Christmas to arrive and with it its famous Christmas markets. In Europe they have proliferated both in quality and quantity, something for which it is already worth taking a trip just to visit them, because these days they offer us the unique opportunity to enjoy a warm and colorful atmosphere, with its Christmas decoration, food stalls Street, (without forgetting) mulled wine, craft shops, music or children's choirs singing songs of these dates. We know that there are many, but we wanted to make a selection of what we consider are 10 best Christmas markets in the world.

1. Alsace

In the Alsace area, in northern France, we have been able to enjoy one of the best Christmas markets in the world. Its towns with medieval air with streets full of charm, their story houses dressed With a thousand colors and flowers, to which at this time they add a beautiful Christmas decoration, they make this place a paradise for Christmas lovers. In our trip to Alsace we toured many of these villages where, at this time, the protagonists are incredible Christmas markets, such as those of Mulhouse, Obernai, Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé ... to those of the beautiful town of Colmar and the more than ten that we can find in Strasbourg, the Christmas capital.

2. Switzerland

Most cities and towns in Switzerland have beautiful Christmas markets. Starting with Basel, with one of the Europe's most beautiful Christmas markets, located in the Barfüsserplatz and around the historic church of Barfüsserkirch, in the historic center. 3. Belgium

Arriving in Brussels and seeing the more than 250 stalls around the Great Place, with its large Christmas tree, already make it worth the trip. Its ice rink in Sainte-Catherine and the atmosphere that is created in the city at this time, is incredible. 4. Prague

Prague is another city where you can find some of the best Christmas markets. In the Plaza de la Ciudad Vieja, with its spectacular astronomical clock, you will find the most beautiful, with a large manger, surrounded by small shops and hot food stalls, with typical products of the region, which we are sure, you can not resist trying. 5. New York

The Christmas in New York It is something that must be lived at least once in a lifetime. 6. Bavaria, one of the best Christmas markets

The Bavarian area in southern Germany also has some of the best Christmas markets in Europe. 7. The Tyrol

If you fly directly to Salzburg you will meet one of the best Christmas markets and one of the most beautiful in Europe. 8. Tallinn
